Pudsey 10K
Once again in July the AB Group based in Batley , West Yorkshire and comprising of AB Co Ltd, Wellan Studios and RW Reprographics Ltd helped to sponsor the annual Pudsey 10K in the process earning thousands of pounds for the Marie Curie Care based in Bradford.
Over what is described as an hard and undulating course with local landmarks such as Black Carr Woods and of course the Fox + Grapes part of its charm , a record entry from all over the country enjoyed clement conditions far removed from the Barbecue Summer promised earlier in the year by the weatherman , this much to the relief of Finishing Manger Wayne Ferguson and Lead Printer Paul Worthy who both scorched round the course in under an astonishing 1 Hour to gain the Annual Team Award for AB Co Ltd in the process collecting a trophy , a case of wine and vouchers . We are not sure what the vouchers are for yet but will find out on September 24 at the award ceremony where AB will present their cheque in addition to the sum of nearly £1000 raised by Paul Worthy himself in sponsorship.
